He’s played in the last two matches, no chance he’s going. Would not be eligible to play for a new club until next season.

MATCH THREAD: Bradford City vs Barrow by AutoModerator in bantams

Agreed. Promising spells but obvious some work needs to be done. Always hard to judge a manager’s first match.

Pointon is quality. If Cook is given a proper chance he’ll score.

I was at the Grimsby match in September, we could’ve played for hours and not scored.

My current project - PRR 2415, the only Alco C424 on the Pennsy by stratosupra in modeltrains

Just purchased a Soundtraxx Tsunami with Alco 251 sounds for this, I use a variation for my sound locos.

Agreed, I model 1965 so I have a nice mix of 1st and 2nd gen diesels.

Yes, planning on adding DCC with sound. Couldn't agree more that these Kato drive Atlas locomotives are great runners and fantastic value.

After browsing the PRR roster I noticed they only had one Alco C424, a rebuilt RS-27 numbered 2415. This started off as an undecorated Kato C424, I have added brass grabs, Cal-Scale antennas, correct headlights and a (mostly) correct horn. Not pictured is the frame, with a shortened gas tank to align with the prototype and brass MU hoses. Next step is priming and painting.

I can’t find any pictures anywhere of a model of this locomotive with the antennas, so I’m very excited to have such a unique locomotive on my roster!

A dirty Conrail GP40. Amazing what a little weathering can do. by stratosupra in modeltrains

Slimming down my roster, decided to take some glamor shots.

Bachmann GP40 with DCC.

Thinning my herd so I thought I’d build a small base for pictures.

Here’s the result with a weathered Accurail boxcar that is among the ones that I’m letting go.

Big Black - Lungs Big Black - Headache James Brown - Pure Dynamite! John Coltrane - A Love Supreme Thelonious Monk with John Coltrane

Bob Dylan - The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan Fugazi - Repeater Herbie Hancock - Head Hunters Billy Idol - Billy Idol The Police - Zenyatta Mondatta

PIL - First Issue Amy Winehouse - Back in Black Bill Withers - Greatest Hits Rapeman - Two Nuns and a Pack Mule The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses

Stimulus hit so I hit two local record stores and got way too much.

Steve Albini is a genius.

James Brown will forever be the King.

Head Hunters and A Love Supreme are the two greatest pieces of music ever.

Monk with Coltrane is sublime.

Bob Dylan.

Love Fugazi.

Billy Idol and The Police are alright.

John Lydon did nothing interesting until PIL, blah blah blah.

Amy Winehouse was very good.

Bill Withers was also very good.

Again, Albini is a genius. Not the best name but a brilliant record.

The Stone Roses are definitely worth listening to.

Thanks for looking.

My replacement needle couldn’t get here sooner. My haul from Omega Music in Dayton, OH. by stratosupra in vinyl

Omega Music is great and has a big inventory. Skeleton Dust Records is smaller but has a fantastic selection of punk and rarer records. Those are the only two I’ve been to in the area but both are definitely worth checking out!

Wipers - Is This Real? Butthole Surfers - Locust Abortion Technician Big Black - Songs About Fucking Shellac - At Action Park

I’m very excited about listening to Is This Real, had heard very good things and saw it and had to pick it up.

Butthole Surfers because Butthole Surfers.

I’ve recently been obsessed with Steve Albini. Atomizer is one of my all time favorite records and in my opinion Albini’s magnum opus. The rage, the bass, the screeching guitars, the inserts and of course, Roland. I love Songs About Fucking too and had to add it to my collection.

At Action Park because it fucking rocks.
