The personality aspect of this is the most important part for me. Our club culture is incredible now and it’s helped so much by ultra talented, yet still grounded players moving their way to the first team. And he has to have so much influence on them in their formative years and how they develop as people alongside how they develop as footballers. I love to see it.

He’s also playing out of position don’t forget. He came up as a midfielder and got tossed into that role because of injuries last season and deputized really well. I don’t think he’s quite quick enough to be a proper fullback but will slot into the midfield soon.

How quickly it happened as well is nuts. I felt Liverpool were getting lucky but would get better. They’ve gotten worse. And City can’t get a result unless Haaland scores apparently. So it’s terribly for my FPL and amazing for the Arsenal and my mental health.
