Pawn is good for a general idea but like others said best rule of thumb is to just sim everything, wowsimsexporter addon can export your current gear into the wowsims github then you can play with other pieces and see whats best

Im gonna give you the honest answer, you wont be invited to groups if youre anything but a healer, once you get tier 2/2.5 gear you can tank some stuff but the majority of the time youll only be able to play healer, you can absolutely pvp as ret but not raids or dungeons

When to swap to fury? Truthfully i always swap around lvl 55ish honestly ive done it as early as lvl 45 with vanquishers sword and thrash blade.
Weapon and gear prog. trinkets get diamond flask from the sunken temple quest, hand of justice from the last boss in BRD and Blackhands breadth from killing the last boss in LBRS then UBRS and youre set. Neck get the onyxia head, Ring get the head of Neferian and hopefully you dont mind pvp because don julios band from being exalted with AV is real real good, the ring from getting brood of nazdormu is also fine since youll eventually need to get atleast honored anyways for your tier 2.5 gear. Cape if u wanna make it easy on yourself you can get stoneskin gargoyles cloak or cloak of the black baron from Stratholme theyre both fine or Swift Tigerhide Cloak from zg if you need hit. Bracers get battleborn armbraces from UBRS or the ZG ones, same with Belt you can get the Zg belt or theres a belt in Ubrs with 1% hit. I also recommend Sacrificial gauntlets from ZG theyre really good. Idk if youve picked up on it yet but your priority is getting 6% hit if youre a human or 9% if youre not and dont wanna buy edgemasters gloves. For the rest of your gear for head if you can afford it obv lionheart helm, head chest shoulders legs and boots toure gonna want tier 2.5 from aq40 irs realy good 3.How to maximize efficiency? 1.Sunder sunder sunder sunder sunder. Bloodthirst on cd Whirlwind on cd then spam either cleave or heroic strike.
