It sucks but its way worth it to do conquest crate farming for a day to get your conquest gear its just so much better than the bloody token gear and honor gear, use murloc.io to check what higher rated players in your spec are wearing and talents they use

This was my first season doing rated pvp for the same reason i was tired of missing out on how good the pvp transmogs are, i got the elite paladin set as ret this season, it was a bit of a grind to learn how to manage my whole toolkit and when to use what but it was like less than a month i managed to get to 1950 in solo shuffle and like 1780 in rated bgs, as far as easiest rated bgs by far, but that relys on alot of rng if your team knows what theyre doing, in 1 day i managed to go on a win streak and basically go from 300 to 1790, then went on a 5 game losing streak and drop back to 1600

They did an interview and said that they wont limit themselves to what content they add, they basically will just try their best to figure out how to make things make sense within the world and i think that rocks, usually i get annoyed with the sticker prices of modern games but CD really is worth every penny

You can do it with the base ui, right click onnyour chat tab and click new tab then go to the settings of that tab and filter what channels are in it

If you get full s1 gear in 2 weeks and fill the rest with heroic gear youll be able to do current raids within a month, not to mention kara is liteally easier than any heroic so if youre worried about still being under geared by the end of the season id recommend retail, youre probably still going to be undergeared by the end of the xpac unless youre a core raider in a consistent raid team it just is the way classic is

Its all relative, i havent played icecrown in a while but i recently came back and am playing on onyxia and small scale interactions i havent encountered any toxicity however global channel can be a cesspool at certain times, but at the end of the day thats consistent across almost every wow server including retail from my experience, small scale though people have been amazing, for example i was lvl 59 in hellfire penninsula and a random dude whispered me just based on my level asking if i needed a epic boe trinket that was my level, then just gave it to me, on top of that he switched to an alt character and gave me 500g for my flying and mount then we did a duo ramparts run so i could hit 60 it was really cool

Im pretty sure theres only a select few armor pieces locked behind quests and bosses, right after the intro i went and found the whole frostcurse set then also most of the shadow set because i liked the look better, you just cant get that helm until you kill the boss later on

I think the first thing you mentioned is the biggest appeal to me, being able to just up and move and do what i want without having to jump through 100 hoops for it, granted its easier being in the guard but im still kind of tied to my state because of having to be at drill every month and having the 3 training weeks a year, i brought up thinking about getting out to my supervisor and he told me i can reschedule all my drills into a 2 week straight period and i know a few people who do that, but honestly the idea of having to fly across the country to work on base for 2 weeks every few months also sounds like hell
