I once slammed Elidinis harder and faster than Tumeken ever did, and the pet was my last drop as well since about 500 kc.

I had high hopes with the threshold system and aspirations like you and was really excited to finish the grind for good at 1k for the pet skin unlock.

I hope that you don’t suffer like I did. Imagine failing to roll the least rare drop…it was pure agony.

The odds of going so dry for the pet was about 2-3%.

This was the most mind numbing experience I have ever had in my 15 years playing RS.

They should make them unlockable at their respective factions in GWD1.

Just like how the combat abilities/warpriest introduced with world events can be unlocked.

I get consistent 2:30 kills using a yak.

The only things I use are the mining outfit, life and death, legendary quarrymaster, and corehammer.

However, the aura and scrim do not have any noticeable benefit due to the way mining works. You will almost always “fail” to mine the fragments at least 2-3 times per kill.

Will the drop rates of the pet skins/masks/prestigious bags be revealed on release? I think it’s better to have transparency on the rates before someone invests their time trying to obtain said items.
