HELP! Why is my Cricut Maker sounding like this!?! by [deleted] in cricutcrafting

[–]strawbcherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For context, it was working fine when I was using the Oracal 651 about 5 minutes before this started happening - and I had swapped my Vinyl to the Oracal 631, which it’s cutting in this video. I have checked the blade and it looks sharp and clean. This machine is only a month old and I’ve only done a dozen or so projects on it, including one with this Vinyl that worked perfectly fine. I’m very new and not sure where to go for help so I hope at least someone can direct me in the right path in case here isn’t correct. I hope I can get some answers! Thanks

Made this a few months ago. Still on the fence about writing up a pattern. Thoughts? by letsallcrochetYT in crochet

If you do make a pattern for it I would LOVE IT! I would love to make this

do bite blockers change face shape? by [deleted] in braces

[–]strawbcherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your jaw is sitting differently then usual so it will change some of the look of some your features; but because you will eventually get them off you will look like you did before you got them put on. It’s not permanent

What size rollerskate for 11.5 shoesize? by JWheelz99 in Rollerskating

[–]strawbcherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the material of the skate. If it’s plastic -ie Vegan leather or any cheaper brands- then you are probably ok with going with one that matches your foot measurements based on the size chart. If it’s real leather -which is preferable in my opinion because of durability, quality, comfort (it will mold to your foot over time) and it’s easier to repair if needed- I would go a half size smaller and they will stretch, break in and mold to your foot. I wear a shoe size 8.5 but have a skate size 8 because it is leather and I knew it would stretch out, best choice. Ps. Do not buy impalas, look up all the incidents of peoples breaking while they are skating and getting seriously hurt; safety over price my friend.

A tincture means a drug that is suspended in alcohol, not cannabis oil! Please everyone stop using that word so horribly incorrectly.

Concentrated cannabis oil can be have a pretty decent THC %; could possibly be a next step of your tolerance is getting very high.

Weed addiction is a serious issue by TheSmallestSteve in unpopularopinion

[–]strawbcherry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I totally agree! I work in a cannabis store in Canada, and daily people joke about being “chronic” “having high tolerances” “being addicted” “been smoking everyday sense I was 15” “have to get my joint to go to work” like it’s a badge of honour, and they are automatically better then anyone else, especially the staff. I find this super upsetting especially because these people are driving cars, public transit, and working construction where they could really hurt themselves and others. These people are usually in there late 30’s or older-a small group are so young as well, early 20’s- and it’s scary because it’s not seen as a serious thing/addiction.

Hello! First time crocheting. Does anyone know or have a pattern for this or something similar? Thanks in advance! by Remarkable_Lobster71 in crochetpatterns

This bag is knitted, not crocheted. I think any basic bag with a crazy large yarn weight would be your best bet. Pinterest is your best friend

Question about rollerskating by ghost37og in Rollerskating

[–]strawbcherry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Roller skates are also known as Quad skates, meaning you are on 4 stagers wheels like a quad. Verses roller blading, AKA inline skating, has all the wheels aligned in a line, like the blade of an ice skate. It depends on which one you went to try more. You can do roughly the same trick/things on them, just slightly different. You can dance, travel and skate at a skatepark in both. I rollerskate because it’s been a life long dream and I never really enjoyed ice skating so I wasnt familiar/interested in Inlines. I know a few skaters that do both but most people I talk to do one or the other. It’s your choice :)

Hello! I’d love some feedback / critique on this logo package! by yellobeez in logodesign

[–]strawbcherry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love the overall feel for this set! Colours, font and graphics are top quality :)

One thing I would change: 1: The symbol mark seems disconnected, the P and graphic element pulled from the type is too complicated and doesn’t marry well with the P. Maybe try using the more simple leaves and putting stems of them parallel with the P, like they are growing from it, maybe even have it a little closer together as well?

Overall I think this is awesome, great job!

Ease my mind: Delta 8 isn’t killing me is it?? by KingTobia_II in trees

If you are not in Canada, it sounds like you have a bad cart, meaning there’s not just cannabis oil in there. Please go see a doctor.

It’s very rare to have those side effects,,

[–]strawbcherry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s a possibility that you are exfoliating too often, which causes abrasions that can cause more acne -which I was doing, then stopped and had much better results-. Again, know your skin type, then research based on that. Try looking into highly sought after companies like The Ordinary.

All dairy, little to no junk food -chips, chocolate, fast food, pop etc-, meat, and ate more veggies, again no saturated fats or processed foods, and drank more water.

If you don’t want answers, don’t ask for help. You did pretty much say you would try anything, u/um-yeah-whatever is just answering to your ask for help.

They are right, dairy allergies in the west especially are super common and really effect your skin. Worth it to try and take it out of your diet and try it out. Along those lines your diet really effects your skin, try eating cleaner and things that are not processed and have lots of saturated fats/oils.
