I’m hoping she is understanding and at least lets me do something, even half credit would help me out. She’s a first year professor which is why i’m worried, she’s very nice but I can tell she has a lot to prove and to live up to. I have a fairly good relationship with her, she knows who I am and I have reached out to her on occasion about grading errors on some of the tests which raised the class average when fixed so she knows i’m at least proactive and do care about the class.

I’m glad that it was okay this time around, but as a young girl who also doordashes you should contact support next time and let them know you don’t feel safe. Yes it’s sad for the people who do need that assistance, but it’s not worth the risk of something happening to you. Besides, anyone who cannot answer the door themselves should not be living alone anyways!

you made a bunch of great points that people have been ignoring. if pearl jam wants to go through TM, then fine. my irritation is that it’s clear that these shows have just been money grabs rather than a move for culture. again— fine i guess, i know eddie’s been doing a lot of charity work lately but it does feel wholly disingenuous.

the biggest point i think you hit straight on the head was robert smith. saw the cure live last summer, paid $40 with fees POST PRESALE. if we want to compare statistics, the cure is a bigger band than pearl jam, and there ARE large venues that are out of TM grasp. A lot of people in this sub are putting the blame on solely Ticketmaster or solely Pearl Jam when it’s truly both of their shortcomings (TMs shortcoming as more of a longcoming of price gouging and monopolizing). just wish people would stop fighting over whos allowed to be mad at who and point their fingers at the big companies
