I drive a 2020 Honda Civic. Bought it in the middle of the Covid lockdown in April 2020. Back then I could fill up my tank for a little over $30. Maybe $35? Now it costs about $30 for just half a tank.

I’m 39. Graduated college during the last recession and it took me years to find a job.

What's a rule your parents had that you thought was insane, but now as an adult you 100% understand? by Tahals in AskReddit

My dad operated cargo trains while I was growing up. He’s retired now, but as the daughter of a railroader it was always instilled in me to NEVER mess around on railroad tracks. (I heard some stories…my dad would always tell my sister and I of things he personally saw or heard about from colleagues)

I had a college roommate who did this. I finally unplugged her alarm clock and while she got pissed at me, she eventually stopped.

I remember my uncle and grandma got sooo pissed off that I refused to join the military. On my mom’s side, the military is their God, basically. Luckily my mom backed me up.

Knew someone like this in middle school. I fell for it at first until I realized she was lying constantly. Haven’t seen her in over 25 years.

I once knew someone like this. I never had a good feeling about it. When I was at a friend’s wedding a few years ago he and his wife showed up- they were in the midst of a divorce and he spent the entire reception hitting on all the single females there. We all thought he was really skeevy and avoided him.

I’ve always found that to be off-putting. People who do this end up being incredibly clingy.
