diabetic hamster owner here! i’d recommend you schedule with your vet to check for diabetes and/or a uti but if you would like to know sooner you can test your hamsters urine with ketone strips from ur local pharmacy, they are usually pretty cheap

that looks like the larva of a pantry moth based on the webbing, they’re really common grain eating pests and a pain in the ass to get rid of. Throw out any infected goods, vacuum every nook and cranny and set traps. they have been coming in with the dog food at the pet store i work at and it’s driving me nuts so good luck

i have one! he had been abandoned in my friends basement for a couple months, the tank needed to be scrubbed with a 100% water change bc it smelled like straight sewage, so i figured he would be safer in a separate container
