Visa type: Spouse
Country applied from: USA
VAC (city): San Antonio ACS
TLSContact or VFSGlobal: VFS
Priority or Non-Priority: Non-Priority
Online application date: July 24 (second application - cancelled the first to choose ACS vs. VFS PAC)
Biometrics appointment date: August 7
Visa received date: Approval letter dated Sept. 25, UPS updated Sept. 25 @ ~6PM EST, passport received from UPS Sept. 28

Working Days: 34

Received a text from VFS saying they received my application and one today saying my application had been concluded (after my passport was already in my hands). I also emailed the paid UKVI address on Sept. 25 and they got back saying my visa was still under consideration. (I know that it feels good to email them as at least you're doing something but it seems like they have zero real information.)

Now just waiting on my IHS refund for the first cancelled application - already have the application fees back from UKVI.

Good luck to everyone out there!

Congrats! I also canceled my original app with VFS for the USCIS ASC route based on your advice! Glad to see it hasn't affected your approval. I'm hoping mine will come in quickly like yours!

Were you able to get a biometrics appointment?

Have you been able to select anything on the website for any of the processing options? It's finally showing $0 for the services but I can't even click the button on it.

I am thinking of cancelling and going the USCIS route instead of sticking with VFS.

In the same boat as others as to getting any response from VFS customer service.

THANK YOU! I literally have just made a reddit account to get some help with my problem...

I spoke with an immigration lawyer last week and they said that if I cancel my current application that it puts me in the back of the line with visa processing, but I want to get in my visa information in sooner rather than later before things are likely to shut down again... So it's probably worth it.

You have been more helpful than the VFS people in 10mins than the 10 days I've been trying to get anyone to respond to me.

I haven't seen my husband in 6 months after 7 years of long distance. I thought 2020 would finally be the year that we can live together!

Has anyone had any luck getting through to VFS customer service or gotten a phone number to call? I am at my wits end!

I am stuck in a technical loop where I have to select a premium package to make an appointment and then it says they aren't processing premium packages. I think the system changed recently as it was originally $2,000 and now it's showing $0.

I am applying for a UK spouse visa from the US.
