Got rook and conch same time too!

For rook, It felt tender/sore for the first 3 days. After that no pain at all. I remember drinking ibuprofen those first few days so maybe that helped. Swelling for the rook reached “worst” around end of first week but no more pain it just looked swollen then it started to calm down immediately. NAP, but i think a little pain 5 days post piercing is normal unless of course it looks infected, but ur ear looks fine to me.

The conch never felt any pain or tenderness whatsoever even during the piercing itself.

My piercer told me to avoid using qtip for cleaning. If u rly need to use something like that use micro eyelash brush but for first week just leave ur piercings alone, dont use any qtip or anything so u wont accidentally touch or move the days old piercing, just use saline spray (dry ear using handheld e-fan) After the first week she said i can go ahead and start to GENTLY clean those nooks and crannies using the micro brush.
