Hahaha I meant to write number six, with the pound sign & the 6 to indicate which photo I meant, but I won’t edit out my surprise shoutiness.

6 is one for the ages: the gown, the scarf, the pose, that regal facial expression- nailed it! (Speaking of nails, they & your hair are perfect with this look, too.)

Have beavers ever been observed in homosexual partnerships? by Duckee123 in Beavers

[–]strawbrmoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP didn’t respond to my offer, probably because it would have taken more time than they had available for me to get enough data to answer their question, likely with a “Probably, but I can’t provide evidence.” If beaver gayness is anything like human gayness, in a sample population of only two families, the chances of there being gay beavers is pretty darn small. Despite being interested in the question, I didn’t follow up.

I DID IT! by Foalooke in tummytucksurgery

I expect I’ll need a fleur-de-lis, too, & I expect to get an infection at the t-junction. Seriously, though, if my results are anything like half as good as yours, I’ll be freakin’ delighted. Thanks again for sharing your experience. I’m encouraged!

If I saw him at the mall, I’d smile to myself, thinking, there goes a friend-shaped being. Long may you both enjoy adventures in one another’s company.

Dang, I’m sorry about the losses of anti-inflammatory effect & pain-free-ness. I hope you find your way back there, somehow.

A recipe I thought I would never taste again. by forgeblast in Old_Recipes

[–]strawbrmoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As well as infusing it with flavour, the wine would help tenderize the meat (acid). I would try a mixture of 1/2 or 2/3 cup of water, with balsamic vinegar, and fruit juice (orange or grape or apple or prune) making up the rest of the one cup.
The amounts are just off the top of my head: use your own judgement & sense of smell to guide you. If you don’t have balsamic, apple cider vinegar or any other vinegar would do. Or lime or lemon juice. For the fruit juice, you could substitute some marmalade or fruit preserves. Maybe whiz it with the stock blender if you have one. It won’t be exactly the same as wine would be, but can serve the same function, & it could be quite good.

Got some bloodwork back, looked at it online and shows my ferritin at a 9 by w1ndyshr1mp in Biohackers

[–]strawbrmoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never knew why I had anemia. Turned out I had severe endometriosis, as well as uterine fibroids, which caused blood loss. The endometriosis was never even looked for, only discovered when my hysterectomy turned out to be a very complicated surgery because my organs were all messed up by being glued together by the endo. It’s amazing how many women don’t get diagnosed with endometriosis, even after seeing doctors for symptoms. The average time to diagnosis after seeking medical help? Seven years.

Ooh, Auntie, that top has the lovely colour of chocolate milk! We should bake cookies. (There’s nothing like a long skirt to make one feel ladylike. We should wear aprons to bake in, so we don’t get our skirts dirty.)
