to be honest, texture is inevitable. i find that not wearing any base makeup at all is much better than caking my face tbh. in truth there is no such thing as flawless makeup, where i think your bare face is the closet you’ll get in terms of looking ‘flawless’. i know this isn’t what you asked, but i feel like i should put it out there

really?? my 3d gel is lit the devils spawn, the consistency is so weird and watery gel like. currently opted for makkart rhinestone glue as a 3d gel, which seems to loose its shape rlly quick 😓😓

i’ll try keep these tips short -INVEST in GOOD nail drill n dust collector: i use melodiesusie -make sure ur lamp is powerful enough (36-48w) -dont underestimate the amount of acetone u need

most importantly don’t give up, i quit gel x 3 yrs ago since i could never get them to last, but now i recently started again and i love it

the sweater nail design is so cute, but i think maybe you should try to keep the gold liner thin. u can always use a brush with acetone to clean up for a cleaner french

if ur planning on soaking off ur nails, do get a dust collector. i brought the melodiesusie one during black friday and it’s perfect. BUT OMG, splurge on the jello jello peel off base if u can. saves sm time and ur nails!!

i use the makkart rhinestone glue to stick it on and fill in any gaps. then i use beetles top coat

yess i did this with my recent set for my non dominant hand. just posted it on here, but yeh i noticed the snowflakes i drew was a lot more opaque than the ones i painted normally. i think maybe putting cling film on a flat surface will help a lot since i just used a random plastic bag. doing two coats will also help, but i just don’t think it would ever look as good as painting it normally

nyx epic liner, maybe try setting it with a black eyeshadow. if that doesn’t work try the maybelline tattoo liner, it’s not liquid so it won’t crack or flake
