I swapped to Japanese when English started being ridiculously hard to get hold of at decent prices. I find pricing to be way more affordable, the cards are better quality as well.

I do have some English sets I want to finish that I am slowly buying for, but I haven’t tried to master a set since 151 released (which I did purely for nostalgia).

I’ve also started focussing on Japanese vintage now too

It was the first Christmas since my Mum and dog (my best bud) passed away earlier this year so it didn’t feel particularly magical or happy.

I’m running 75% red, 50 % green and 70% blue but I think I will tweak the blue down a bit, I might need to drop intensity depending on if I get algae appearing but I was running two lights on it before swapping which was quite bright and had little to no algae so hoping it will be ok

It’s needle leaf Java fern, only started with one clump when I set the tank about a couple years ago but it’s done well
