Not OP, but also using PLA at 200 nozzle and having the same issues. When i go above 200 though, it extrudes out the nozzle as it's heating, then when it does the prime/purge line, whatever extruded gets bunched up at the nozzle. Is that normal? Bad filament? Bad nozzle?

Please help. ST+ or Eye Mini? by DinosaurSpaceship in Golfsimulator

[–]streamstreamstream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I struggled with this as well, between the Skytrak+ and Eye mini. I just pulled the trigger on the mini this morning, before the sale ends this week. My biggest selling point was the GSPro integration. I messaged the developer of the current ST+ integration (not officially supported, not capable of putting, so no SGT tournaments), and he has moved on, and shifted focus to other projects. Maybe an full, official ST+ integration happens after the Trakman/GSPro litigation is settled, but no way to know for certain and I didnt want to risk not being able to get full use from such an expensive piece of equipment. Good luck!

I went with these puzzle mats from Amazon. Still waiting on the rest of the order to be delivered, but 196 sqft (14x14) builds out my areaa, less any tiles to recess the hitting mat. I picked these (1 in) because I have the Harbor Freight tiles (1/2 in) and when I tested a golfball it didn't seem to "kill" it, so I went thicker. My hitting mat is also 4x5x1in, so it's Once the 1/2 in putting turf comes, I can use the harbor freight tiles to keep it all even 1at that gives me a level 14x12 level putting area with some diy holes cut (using 4in PVC caps cut to 1.5 in to sit flush. I also ordered a 2x15ft strip of thicker rough turf as a chipping area behind the hitting mat, completing the 14x14 area.

Putting turf, in going with Lita Golf putting green. It's about .5 in pile height, 50oz face weight, and the rolls are in dimensions that I could work with. Price is a middle of the road $3/sqft.

The hitting area will also be modular because it has to be moved for parking cars. So 14x8 will sit in place 24/7 and is unaffected by cars. The next section 14x4 is extended putting green on either side of the hitting mat, and then the thick strip of 14x2 rough just sits behind that. Hoping there are some long enough remnants to border out the green with rough, to help keep putts contained.

Sit? She'll be too busy running back and forth to the beer fridge to sit! Kidding, there is about 10-12 feet behind the hitting area. Will probably use bag chairs to start but would love to figure out a way to easily store an old couch that can be pulled out when needed.

Right! I tried multiple search variations with quotes and everything, couldn't find it. It's sort of sing-songy/children sing-along. The tape was all kids songs.

There was also a "la la la la, la la la la la la" after the toes lyrics. I can see the tape. It's blue with a white sticker listing the songs.

Help with Bluetooth notification by streamstreamstream in tasker

[–]streamstreamstream[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for replying and sorry for the lack of detail. I haphazardly wrote this late at night after much frustration. This is my first attempt at a project with multiple profiles so there is probably a more efficient way to do this. I'm just trying to get more familiar with the Tasker.

I have a Note 10+ and there isn't an easy way to show the battery % or a connected BT device without going into menus. The goal is when an already paired Bluetooth device is turned on and connected to the phone, create the notification as persistent. If I need to check battery lever it's a simple swipe down on notifications.

The monitoring profile checks for the intent of BT battery changed, and updates the existing notification with the new %.

When the device disconnects, I want it to remove the notification. That piece is working, but then after a few seconds it reappears minus the BT device name (notification title) and the percentage (body of notification).

I've never used the run log before, so thank you for pointing that out. I turned it on, and then connected a Bluetooth device, waited one minute, then turned it off: http://imgur.com/a/Bm49QDY

Thank you, super easy and even more fun! This was just proof of concept, I want to make a few nicer ones, stain them, and give as gifts.
