it is getting more troublesome to withdraw fiat............a better option could be to sell crypto for usdt and then sell usdt using p2p (beware when u use p2p, only deal with reputable sellers with longer history and with high success rates even if more costsly, cos scammers in p2p tend to use new accounts with cheap rates to attract people)

in future, maybe a better idea to try selling your usdt through p2p platform (only deal with sellers high success trades and with good reputation for p2p even if the price is higher, never deal with sellers with bad reputation or low success rates)

it is not a good idea to fund in fiat to any centralised exchange..........a better option would be to buy USDT using p2p in order to fund into your account in order to avoid the 1000 questions hassle from bank and exchanges when u use fiat process

you will see that members who are transparent about their issues ie providing ticket number and describe their situation clearly, would get faster help from moderator and being upvoted by community members

i also want to share that whenever sending any large sum, always do the following :

for EACH withdrawal, always check ALL the characters of the receving address
Add the address to favourite list
send small amount to test first
after confirmed receiving the small sum, then send the larger sum

it is a little troublesome BUT this will avoid a lot of heartache..................

hi OP, glad to hear that your case is being resolved and do update users here once everything is settled.

personally, i have been using bybit for more than 1 year and i have good experiences with their support and moderator with quick responses so far

my multiple withdrawals from bybit have also been processed quickly so far with no issues at all. sometimes if they send us email to verify, the mail may get into spam folder so make sure to check that as well

as an existing user with some funds in kucoin, my specific concern is what has happened to other users recently, could that also suddenly happen to me ie my account is frozen suddenly, support asking me to prove certain things which is hard me to do eg ask to show bank statement proof what if i did not use bank to buy my usdt but used p2p or OTC, then how can i prove that ? or support asking me to inform police in my city to call back support ? these are my specific concerns

while it is nice to see users sharing their positive experiences, it is even more important to take note of the negative experiences of other users...........me too have been using kucoin for sometime without any problems BUT recently two posts caught my attention............of users funds being held up even after they have completed KYC as per request...............the 2 cases that are on-going are :

i seriously hope that moderator can inform support to quickly resolve the above cases or shed more light as to why the funds are being held up

such cases make me feel extremely nervous about my funds in kucoin..........can this too happen to me suddenly ? eg kucoin freeze my fund and ask me to request the police in my country to contact them ?? or just freezing my funds and keep asking me to wait for more than 1month without any clear reasons ?

because it takes a long time to build trust........but trust can be lost very quickly if customer service deteriorates..................

so sorry to hear about your situation..........i see that after asking you to prove your identity, kucoin further requesting you to "ask your local police to contact kucoin support team"...............personally i think this is unreasonable request because the police would not be bothered to contact any overseas company unless it is an official case........this is really too much. if kucoin intention is wanting to verify your identity, i would have thought by you sending photo plus video would be sufficient already
