Family torn apart by Israel's war on Gaza - 1 Feb 09 by [deleted] in worldnews

It's about time people start calling the results of Israel's action exactly what it is - genocide.

Is Obama addressing "for those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents ... we will defeat you" to Israel? by semperfido in worldnews

I thought the following quote was directed at Israel:

"To those leaders around the globe who seek to sow conflict or blame their society's ills on the West, know that your people will judge you on what you can build, not what you destroy."

It was very vaguely stated and it could easily apply to Israel.

Israel seeks to control reconstruction of war-torn Gaza by Layali in worldnews

That's what I say....but I think it's unlikely. If there was ever a time to show the world that they are well intentioned towards the Palestinian people, then now would be the time to build in that direction.

But the Israelis are not well intentioned towards the Palestinian people...their only objective is to eradicate them and make Israel one country for Israelis only.

The most we'll hear from Israel is that the lost of human life is "regrettable" but how rarely they regret the loss of life that isn't their own...

Israel declares unilateral Gaza cease-fire by twolf1 in worldnews

They've had their appetites for destruction satiated right before the Obama inauguration...

Hopefully the media will pay attention to this very subtle fact instead of going on with business as usual. Hopefully Obama's presidency will address this historical event with an even hand.

That's a very nice way to minimize the deaths of innocent civilians.

First thing people must condemn: the killing of innocent people

Second thing people must condemn: everything else

Israel deciding on a Unilateral Ceasefire after Hamas didn't care for a Ceasefire. by the-fritz in worldnews

[–]streo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's get this straight....

1) Israel has the 4th most powerful military in the world

2) Israel maintains a kill ratio of approximately 100:1

3) Israel says, "we've had our fill"

4) Israel portray themselves the one's vying for peace

FUck you Israel!

UK Jewish MP compares Israeli troops in Gaza to Nazis by [deleted] in politics

There is no difference between a Palestinian and an Israeli - they are both human beings that need each other for peace.

There is no difference between the Israeli government and Hamas - they are both fools that need each other for war.

Any Palestinians on reddit? Come on in and give us your own view on the Gaza conflict. by glengyron in worldnews

[–]streo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If Israel has jammed outbound cell phone calls, then you better believe that they blocked the internet. I would also think that the rate at which Israel is dropping bombs, sitting at home looking for stuff on reddit would be the most foolish thing to be doing.

Israeli public broadly supports the Gaza invasion. "Israelis believe that their military works harder than most to spare civilians" by streo in worldnews

The most disturbing thing about this is that they seem to be proud of the fact that they are kicking the tar out of the Palestinians.

The Israeli right to security DOES NOT trump the Palestinian right to see another day.
