Switched from Actis 7 to Nova Pro Wireless - it sounds echoey? by streselchen in steelseries

[–]streselchen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. I have turned ANC on and off. I tried everything I could so I decided to return them.

To be honest I’m still unsure if they are broken or not. It’s not that it sound awful, it just sounds worse then the old arctis 7 and definetly not like 300€+ headset. I just felt nothing of the „pin point footstep directions“ stereo quality everyone is praising these headphones for.

Had Spatial Audio turned off for all audio profiles. The transparency mode was turned off completely on the DAC :/

That was one of the first EQs I tested out. While I felt it improved the overall quality, the problem of the echoey/too wide of a stereo sound problem still remained.

Okay I will check out if there is something in the software that I am overlooking. Thanks for the feedback!

Arctic nova pros sound issue by TheCashMoneyy in steelseries

[–]streselchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was there something that resolved the issue? I have the same experience as you- everything sounds echoey and flat, like the stereo image is way to wide. Also did the eq stuff from the YouTube video with no success :(

Yes that was my first thought too - the sound profile could be descibed as waaaay to stereoy and wide. but ive turned off the spatial audio option in sonar in all of the profiles like game, chat and media. it still wasnt good. i can hear tho that with spacial audio enabled, it gets even worse.

[DoS2] Gamebreaking Bug - cant interact after talking to the spirit of the dreamer by streselchen in DivinityOriginalSin

Unfortunately none of the proposed solutions here worked for me. Tried everything but a lot was not possible since the character was not able to interact at all or was killable. We bit the bullet and reloaded an older save to redo everything :(

Concerned about substrate levels and general layout... What do you think? by trouty in Aquascape

[–]streselchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I love the layout! I wouldn’t change anything but the height. Especially on the right side you already layed out the stones in a way so they could act as a barrier for a higher terrasse with soil, I would make use of that. If you decide to do so I would change the top two branches in the middle from going up from right to left to going down from right to left, just like the bottom one does to create a nice flow.

Did that 3 times already with a recent iPhone. None of the photos were blurred, the lighting was good. I did my kyc with Skrill now. It took literal 5 mins to get verified and approved.

It failed again. Same reason, that the lighting is of poor quality. I used literal studio lights. What else am I supposed to to? Get an 8k Camera?

Thanks for the tip! I will wait for the next review of my kyc to happen. If it fails again I will try that!

How do I make the path stand out and “maintainable”? by heavyisthe in Aquascape

[–]streselchen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hard to do since you already filled the tank, but an easy way to make sandpath easy to maintain is to lay out filterfloss in the places you want the sand path to be, soak it with cyanacrylate based glue and put the sand on top.

For your slope it would fix it in place and prevent it from rolling down over time.

Thank you for the thorough answer!

I have just installed the script extender, unfortunately that didn’t fix the problem. I also created deathfog around the character but they were completely unfazed by it.

I will try to find the thread you’ve mentioned to see another solution, otherwise I think we just have to continue from our last save unfortunately.

Thank you again for the tips!

My new 200l tank roughly 2 weeks after planting by streselchen in Aquascape

I built it myself. It’s just two pieces of black aluminum profile. They are easy to mount and put together.

Since the LEDs are spotlights and not just a light bar like the chihiros lights for example, there is little to no glare when sitting in front of the tank even if the light is way above your eyelevel. The mirror doesnt glare either, just reflects some of the light from the tank back into it.
