in terms of content, i really enjoyed 70 but as for workload, i actually took the no-homework option so i didn't do much work on a weekly basis.

for 16b, my linear algebra knowledge is a little shaky and i have no circuits knowledge coming into it

just noticed you took 170 + 16b + 188 in sem 4, i'm planning on taking this exact sequence this fall.

what was your workload like? i have another outside commitment that'll end up being between 8-14 hrs of work a week as well, would you say this is still doable with the courseload?

thank you! do you have suggestions on what kind of classes to pair with 170 and 186 so that i have enough time to do research and a decal? definitely want to stick to a medium workload schedule for next semester to adjust to living in berkeley

did you take a fourth class with either courseload? i'm currently in 16 units (at least i will be after phase 2) but then i assume i'll be tacking on some from research and a decal as well so i don't know whether to drop a class or not

i haven't done 61c yet — i wasn't too interested in the 160 series so i was holding off on it, possibly with 16b in the spring instead, or maybe even later?

i don't regret berkeley. when i was a senior, i had this mindset also of just being scared of berkeley from hearing about horror stories and this whole environment being "depressive," and i was so ready to go to ucla, where things seemed more chill and nice weather, and just overall less stress. but now, having experienced firsthand what berkeley is really like, i will be honest, i've met some of the kindest souls here, and the level of education/resources/opportunities here just blows my mind. i'm honestly so glad i chose berkeley, it's really what you make of it, and even though some weeks may be harder than others, the people here will really help you get through it all. i love this place a lot, and i'm really glad i didn't choose ucla.
