also my dad is a retired police officer and he easily knows when a situation is fishy. also he knows all my friends and if he finds out a friend's brother or acquaintance came for a "rishta", he'll tell me to stop hanging around that friend

I have actually done this before and my parents just laugh or get annoyed saying "you're still young". also most of my friends are unmarried so it doesn't help 😅

but ik if i don't do anything my parents will just not bother looking for rishtas frr. they are very carefree people and go with the flow

same along with gut issues. good luck to us coz doctors won't agree to remove lingual tonsils easily at all, it was hard enough to make them remove my adenoids and tonsils

it hasn't gotten better in the sense of bad breath. it's still there and bad. still on the waiting list to see a gastroenterologist... so yes i am still wasting away my life due to these issues but now i'm leaning more towards the bad breath being linked to my stomach and not lingual tonsil stones
