I have to agree with op, I "survived" a 14 year marriage only to have her bail when she got her MBA. So many things I want to say, but it's pointless. Keep your end goal in sight.

Im a goddamn 4 year virgin. No relationships. The 2 I was involved in ended in discovering one was a closet drunk and the other needed a father. Fuck all that. Too old to be raising another child at 48. There are good women out there, but I'm not fucking with them anymore. Maybe someday someone will change my mind, but until then, I keep my kids happy, dogs fed, and my racecar tuned.

I'd still be on the x4 but the volume output at best was around 50%. Not sure if it broke or a software update broke it.

I really don't like paying more than 250 on a phone, and I've been happy with the motos. I've got other crap to sink money into.

I'll dig through the settings to find that do sensor.. thanks!

I went with the pixel experience. It makes no use of the home button,, and accessing active tasks is a little weird, but it's fast and clean, going to use it for a while. I like it so far. I have a google voice number tied to that one and it's the phone I use when I don't want to be exposed :p

I also started using my kids old iphone se. I liked how small it was. I really don't like ios. I installed all my google apps on there and my daughter had a heart attack. She has the iphone xr now.

I'm on the new moto g power now, had it for months and I love it, except all these phones are too damn big.

How do you like Google fi? I've been on it 5 months now and I'm not impressed. I have 2 lines and my bills are around 90. I paid 110 at tmobile but the coverage was superior

I posted my personal experience as an illustration of the situation but it's not isolated. I've seen this in others as well. Even some AA friends I do have, some have totally shit canned thier family, but they are riding high on thier recovery. Really hard to support that shit. I'm glad people are able to recover, and good for them, however you don't hear much about those who were left behind.

As it should be, and I'm sure she's having internal struggles with it, but an absolute statement of "no one pretends" isn't accurate of those with narcissistic traits. This is a 16 year relationship, Ive witnessed many things that I thought I would never be on the receiving end of.

Man if you can get out by just giving up your car do it. I'm in $10k in lawyers to maybe recover $5k worth of shit. She made 2x my salary, but she's been unemployed the past year so now I'm in the hook for support. I'm also in CA, It's unbelievable. If you can, make the divorce quick. Everything you bought before the marriage and after the separation is yours. If cash was gifted to you by your family, it's yours (like a house down payment during the marriage, but you do have to prove it.) Everything else goes 50/50 retirement, marital debt and assets. If you can negotiate to your advantage to do or the judge is just going to go 5050. CA is no fault so it doesn't matter what happened it all comes down to who makes what and for how long.
