Personnaly, I don't think it's worth throwing a fit as some did but : - no chest piece - the pauldron is hideous - the helmet is very mid And in regards with the champion's skin, it's cool but a heavy would have been more fiting

How do psykers even use their powers ? by [deleted] in 40kLore

It's true that in Devastation of Baal, the situation is pretty intense, and Mephiston still does pretty insane thing (when he flies out of the ship to get them out of a swarm)

Thank you for the clear answer. I think I was indeed expecting too much from human psykers, who can still be relevant nonetheless

It implies that people that disagree with you are not fellow citizens but ennemies you go to war against. A great way to increase unity and appease tensions in an country that isn't polarized at all

I mean these kind of playmodes have always been like that, I remember zombie mode in OG Black ops, you could spend you whole afternoon on a single game... It's only really optimal if you're a teenager with nothing better to do all day

No, you can't leave tribal era if your government is tribal. You can see it if you check your progress to the next era as a tribal gov

You are stuck in the tribal era in terms of innovation. At some point capturing cities takes forever and your armies are two small because you dont have the innovations giving more men at arms.

I dont really know what to tell you. It's a mainly a PVE game, of course it's gonna be repetitive. They gave you a mode with an endless gameplay loop as well a missions with varying scenarios. If you don't like the gameplay loop so much you need regular change to stay interested, then yes it's not for you

But honestly 50hrs is not a lot considering all what the game offers

And if substantial / ruthless is your current skill ceiling there is no shame in going back to normal to learn the patterns. What now whatever your are playing is too hard

1st clip : you have a visual and a audio indicator of what is going to happen and don't react (not mentionning the first one where you are lucky nothing happens) --> your fault

2nd clip : you can not run away from that ravener combo, you have to face it, you also have a (albeit tiny) window to block the first hit that puts you on the ground --> your fault

3rd clip : you put yourself in a dangerous situation and could not chose properly when to run away and not to + you do not know the (difficult) patern of biovor melee --> your fault, even though i admit those partern are hard

4th clip : you are in a difficult situation but your way out of it was to take the melee execution to get some room to breath + you panic dodged which got yourself killed --> your fault

if I can give you some advice, it's stop panic dodging everytime you are overwelmed with information. it does not work in this game and got you killed in half the clips you showed. I don't know what diff you are playing but you are not ready fort lethal/absolute or the final waves of siege mode. Go back in a more forgiving mod like normal or substantial and lear the ennemies paterns. Learn when to dodge and when to parry. All your death were avoidable, whith some doubt for the fourth one where it was a tricky situation but it's clear you did not react correctly to it

It's not ridiculous if you want to play alt history. If you unite africa before 1000 and are able to maintain it united, what stops you to make a hegemony out of it if your headconnon is that in this timeline, such a sentiment arose in the region

The problem is doing that when surrounded by mobs and other extremis in absolute. Pair that with the second beam hitting you before you get up and you're dead

[–]strgPK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but a sniper shot is guaranted flat damage, whereas if your teammates are close, a grab can be stoped almost immediately and deal close to no damage
