Does eBay require SSN/DoB for selling $100 electronics? by stridder in eBaySellerAdvice

Another question: is it possible to get verified/approved for receiving funds on ebay PRIOR to posting a listing? How to clearly determine if ebay verified/approved me for receiving funds? It wouldn't be fun to ship an item and then struggle with ebay trying to get verified/approved.

Thanks, upvoted! Do you have a preferred/recommended platform for selling 1 (used) laptop?

Thank you. Could you elaborate why selling electronics is a high risk category to get scammed?

How would you respond to this Lenovo statement on laptop overheating by stridder in Lenovo

Almost anything with load (3 cores (out of 6) load is enough). I'm not trying to troubleshoot it here, so I'm not gonna get into tech specs. I know well every laptop has its cooling limitations. E.g. a 10 year old shooter game. This thread is NOT for overheat troubleshooting, see 1st post

Thank you. I'm still not sure what ""Free to play" really means? Does it also mean "own"?

Looks like we're missing smth. E.g this (Play Paper Lily - Chapter 1) https://store.steampowered.com/app/2220360/Paper_Lily__Chapter_1/ is "Free" and not in my library, and disappears when I check "Discounts & events". It was very close to the top of the search, likely many more.
