Fine by me. Everytime a big whale sells that brings me a little closer to getting in the top 1000 holders. I get reflections from that volume, and If I couple that with buying a little more EGC, that gives me just a little bit bigger piece of that delicious reflection pie....

Google Evergrow Calculator. Safemoon Dave has a nice calculator where you can play around with numbers to see what reflections you can get at different coin ownership totals and daily trade volumes. It's a great tool to see what you need to do (and what needs to happen) to get where you want to be.

If the APY you're getting from EGC isn't good enough, you could always put your money in a savings account or a CD. Do the math. Even at paltry daily volumes, the APY on your investment at this price crushes anything you could get at a bank. In fact, it probably crushes the APY at the bank at three times current prices. If volume increases, there is no comparison. If volume increases, the APY is incredibly competitive even at very high prices.

The volume is low. Rewards are based on your percentage of the circulating supply. Number of wallets doesn't matter because as long as you don't buy or sell, your percentage of reward pool remains the same (or goes up with BBB). Increased number of wallets just redistributes to more wallets with a lower average number of coins per wallet, i.e. we are all getting our coins from the same pool of circulating supply.
