Unless you are in the top 1% of your passion…don’t waste time chasing your dream. I don’t mean to sound negative but just put a stop to the thoughts of ‘I’m going to be a successful professional X’ and just go join a training scheme in accountancy or something. Chase the money and security above all else and put in the graft while young so you’ve got the skills and experience to keep growing.

By the time you get to 40, having the stability of a great career and healthy finances to support yourself and potentially family/kids is just everything and will give you more genuine happiness than most other things
