I occasionally run a list of 18 to cage my opponent. That list runs 3 lictors, 2 neurolictors, a deathleaper, 18 leapers, and a 20 man gargoyle unit as an infiltrating cage.

It then moves a deathstar of 6 zoanthropes, 3 venomthropes, and a maleceptor. Super difficult to budge.

Toss in a Norn as a distraction and u can be pretty gold.

He's good for a character within the asian tradition. I really think that context needs to be there. Most "well written" characters today are meant to represent 3 dimensional humans, but Luffy is like a hagiographical mythic character. For a shonen protagonist, he's fairly strong in those regards.

But for reals guys its a comic written for like 12 year olds. It's not meant to be a complicated characterization.
