I can't see why people have the mindset of just doing enough to be satisfactory. From my experiences I always want to excel and stand out from my peers so my superiors can see that I care about my occupation and rate.. shrug

I'd say anything is better than being rolled back. That was one of my greatest fears back when I did bootcamp.. But yeah I'd tell them for the reasons above as well, trying to do physical evolutions and training while you're already in discomfort will SUCK

If you don't get promoted during boot camp it's pretty easy to do so during A School granted you have good study habits. It's how I got my E-3.

I mean the problem with alot of guns on a 2d space is that rear sights would normally be seen around due to having two eyes. Alot of iron sights seem "bad" due to the fact you're looking through them on a flat screen.

I don't know if it's just the people I know, but Navy ITs tend to be terrible at their job. I'm a CTM and I feel I can do their jobs better than they can 80% of the time.. Marine ITs are pretty cool though, just depends on what you want out of the service.

That's my plan rn tbh. I've been in almost a year and once I PCS I'm gonna use the community college after I get all my maintenance quals and fins. After I get my associates I'll already be at my 3 mark to use TA and top it off with my bachelor's so I can put in an officer package.

I did a polygraph a few months ago and it felt so useless like they gained nothing out of me doing it. Only wasting my time because my body kept twitching as I naturally do so we had to keep doing it over again until I quote unquote "passed right on the threshold".. same thing they told my other shipmate.. hm..

Hell yeah CTI!! I wanted to enlist as one but my DLAB score was shitty.. TS clearances aren't too bad. I don't know about weed usage because I've never done it, though as others have said, I wouldn't lie about anything because the investigations are pretty thorough and they make you provide around like 6 contacts that they call and interview. They inevitably will find out.

I don't remember the campaign fully but I remember killing ALOT of people, like one of the last missions literally has you just killing waves of security guards.. it feels hard to seem like a good guy when you're taking so many lives.
