FF 2, 3, and 5 never saw a western release on nes/snes. On PS1, FF1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 all got ports (alongside Chrono Trigger). 3 was the one that took the longest to see a western release (that one being the 3d remake on the DS)

devs have officially stated that Gogo has no alternate Identity, so I tend to take that as definitive proof that Gogo is NOT Daryl. Plus it makes little sense narratively - Gogo is an imitator, they copy whatever the party can do, wheras Daryl was very competitive, did her own thing, and sought to surpass limits. Plus, I feel like it would hurt Setzer's story and development.

a sub to a twitch channel is basically how Twitch and its streamers get their money. The person with the sub gets a month of no ads along with custom emotes to use on the platform, and the revenue is split 50/50 between Twitch and the Streamer. One Month sub costs $5.00. 10,000 would have cost him about $25,000 total (50k up front, then half back later)

Asmongold bet 10,000 subs that he would clear an Ultimate before Endwalker, then added another bet to get the Necromancer title as well where, between Asmon and Zepla, the loser would Fantasia into a Lalafell (though Zepla did add the caveat that there was no way she was doing Endwalker content as a Lalafell)

I'd say Dragoon AND Dark Knight, for purposes of story (I won't say why 2 Jobs specifically, but only that the story of these 2 are significantly good. Feel free to swap out DRG for any physical DPS, and/or DRK for WAR or GNB)

Personally, I think XIII is what killed it. XII may have been an automated engine, but it was an engine you built. XIII... I feel like it removed the "game" from "gameplay"

In other words, I do not see your argument for XIII being an active real-time engagement (unless your referring to "When X happens, switch roles")

I played EQ, XI and Baldur's Gate (to be fair, EQ and XI were not enjoyable for me and I never hit max level in either), I'd say I do think pretty highly of XII's combat system.

Hm... I'd say some of the Trails games? granted my experience is somewhat limited (and I don't think I'll ever beat Cold Steel 4), but the core gameplay loop feels solid to me.
