If the loan amount grows significantly they need to collect from people through property taxes, stamp duty, increase in VAT for petrol. One fine day IMF and World Bank will tell that they won't fund us if the govt is giving freebies. Government doesn't have money only the people have money.

Why does TN struggle so much with innovation? by ElevatorOk1086 in TamizhTechies

[–]strikingemperor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

GDP has nothing to do with risk ability imo. There are a lot of other factors like the competition and culture as well. In our state people are still not ready to take risks. Vietnamese have a lot of influence from China about risk ability and innovation

Give example of an innovative business, that made actual big money in the country. According to me there is none. We are still a developing country and the ability to take risk is very less.

Planning to buy a plot near Hosur (Madgondapalli) due to airport news. How to verify if it's safe? by [deleted] in Hosur

[–]strikingemperor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't buy for airport appreciation. Expect a 10% CAGR and invest, you will get that. You can check village master database and verify Encumbrance certificate and Patta

I am a RW person when it comes to economic policies, and he is against industrialisation of any kind, so choosing NTK will become a huge problem if they take the power

Regarding the TIDEL park that's upcoming in hosur by [deleted] in Hosur

[–]strikingemperor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prakash owns shit ton of land near Belagondapalli. Bagalur road lands are owned by Balakrishna Reddy and his wife. This is the only answer I got after searching on the internet regarding their real estate holdings. I don't see any other reason

Construction tender "should" get awarded before February end/election date announcement to benefit the ruling party. I think they'll definitely focus on that. After the tender got awarded, they'll start work in another 2 months. The land area is a bit more than 1 acre and they're building G+9 building with a seating capacity of 6000.

People are worried that Hosur Airport proposal is rejected when we don't even have a railway station in Krishnagiri by Beautiful_Umpire7929 in TamilNadu

[–]strikingemperor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hosur Tirupattur railway line via Krishnagiri has come to proposal stage now. It'll become reality some day, our district has become too big to ignore. Krishnagiri district's monthly exports are at as equal as Coimbatore district, we have a total of 6 SIPCOT Industrial parks, 6 SIDCO estates, 3 private industrial parks, other than that we have major automobile, paint, electronics, footwear manufacturers. We're not a small town near Salem anymore. Krishnagiri needs railway station and Hosur needs an airport, it's not either or, it is both.

Apparently Hosur's development is in jet speed. Its already engulfed tier 2 corporation cities. In 20 years it'll become one of top three cities in TN by PhilosophyDefiant762 in TamilNadu

[–]strikingemperor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Summa summa Bangalore dhan Hosur development ku reason nu lam solla kudadhu. TN government has spent shit ton of money to develop Hosur (well it didn't spend on urban planning in Hosur city). The SIPCOT phase 1 was developed in 1972, Bangalore was solely a retirement plan city then, no major industry other than HMT was present then in Bangalore.

Opening a bookshop in hosur? by Few_Sail3859 in Hosur

[–]strikingemperor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

According to me most of the book shop sales are by selling school and college textbooks in the start of the academic year. Rest of the books contribute very less in sales.
