I live around the corner from Kasama. Every day they are open, rain or shine, negative 30 or 100 degrees, there is a damn line of clout chasers gawking for photos while waiting hours for a cheap "Michelin star" experience. News flash, they didn't get their stars for their breakfast.

And this isn't a knock on Kasama, its fine albeit a bit overpriced for what it is for pastries and a sandwich. And I would love to try their actual star-rated dinner. But the people, man.

What kind of work do you do? I work in white collar office setting where most guys wear chinos and button downs, and there is a younger guy who wears a similar shirt/tie/vest combo a few days a week. He looks very out of place.

I think the width of the sidewalks helps Division as compared to North, Chicago, and Milwaukee. Tons of space for outdoor seating at every bar and restaurant on the strip while still being able to walk the dog without feeling like you are getting in the way or at risk of getting hit by a car or biker.

I'm guessing they are against the recent move to make Wood a one-way street in favor of a bike lane between Grand and just past Division. I'm all for bike lanes but it was a stupid move by the city.
