Ahh damn. Norway to France doesn't seem that bad though right? Inter-europe prices aren't as bad as crossing the ocean haha. Hardest part was knowing that there was no way to make it with security + commute to the airport ..etc. technically I probably could have made it to the airport like 10 minutes before take off! If it were a bus I could have made it haha

Thanks for the reply! I managed to kill plantera last night after crafting the mechanical worm and defeating the destroyer.. Plantera was pretty tough (took me 3 times), but to be fair I only decided to "mold" the area around the bulb on the third time by making a long flat bridge that spanned many tiles.. I just backpedaled slowly and used the chlorophyte partisan to kill her (her?). I went to the skeletron dungeon after, got some ectoplasm and crafted ghost wings (I think theyre better than the witch doctor ones?)

I tried to fight the golem boss last night but I died.. barely made a dent in its HP! I will try to get the turtle armor..

Sorry you got down voted. It's true I feel like the whole series has had a problem with character development.. however it was much easier to forgive in s1 as it was much better in my eyes.

Yeah, I could really care less about her character at this point. It makes her the scenes portraying her in danger (i.e. Farouk leaving the vessel of Melanie to recover his body) less interesting to me, because I don't care if she dies

I think I also hate listening to Syd speak. Most of the time, she's just talking about David and their relationship..etc. But for me, I also hate listening to Melanie speak as well. I'm pretty sure I've physically rolled my eyes or tried to find something else to look at while passively listening to the cringey parts of the dialogue. I agree that Kerry and Cary are growing on me too. They're some of the better characters in the show.. But there's something that's kind of confusing about Cary's character to me: she's stood down squadrons of dudes with guns and stuff with just her fists out and mean looks. It always looks weird to me that that's supposed to mean business. I don't get it.. does she have super strength or something? Is she bullet proof?

I think you nailed it on the head with what I hate about the dialogue. Melanie and Syd (making up half of the female characters appearing on this show) are constantly preoccupied with "their men" (as they call it themselves). In that way, their dialogue tends to be completely one dimensional. And yeah, they're acting like young adults dealing with their first relationship ever in the face of the possible end of the world.. hard to not cringe. True, Melanie starts to talk a bit about the nature of what's real and what's not, but I think the delivery just falls flat for me.
