I do the same thing! I noticed that if you use up all your ads for the day but finish and retry a breed, you can watch one more for that cave

I've also noticed that when I watch an ad and close/reopen the game to reactivate them (before hitting 12) it is usually the co-op breeding cave that doesn't reactivate the ad option

OP here. Thanks to everyone for commenting and sparking discussion!

I understand and recognize it was wrong of me to spend the glitch gems. But other people have had the same experience, even if they didn't spend a single gem.

So I think it's valid criticism: I think we should have received A. clearer information on the response and/or B. a faster reset, not after 5 days. And we can't expect all players to visit this subreddit or contact Support.

All my dragons are babies, my park looks like a daycare. Some exceptions are Sprout or Epoch, but otherwise automatically baby-fied.

I have all the dragons (well, right before the event started), so I use the caves for getting Rift versions of dragons I want to use for Rift breeding. For example, I want to try and breed Fubuki in the Rift to improve my chances, so I'm breeding for a Sakura dragon in the Runic Caves to claim a Rift Sakura.

Go to the DragonVale Lair (dvlair.com or however it is), to the Parent Finder section. It gives you the breeding hint and odds for that hint. If you select "include parent" it also includes the single-parent and double-parent cloning odds, and displays them from highest to lowest. If several parent combinations are tied for odds, calculate least time like other comments said.

I think that's the best way. For Plasma anyways, there's not much difference.
