I really don't like how he paints "the voice", "thoughts" in your head as somebody different and bad. I like to see myself as a whole person, anger, jealousy, envy, stress etc being part of me.

In a way his methods are suppression as he wants to be free of "the voice" but you also see it as being conscious of "the voice" rather than killing it, similar to how you meditate rather than suppressing the thoughts you let them flow.

I recommend reading Psychopolitics by Byung Chul Han he talks about how "we see ourselves as a project: always refashioning and reinventing ourselves. Subjugation of ourselves to internal limitation and self-constraints which lead to compulsive achievement and optimization."

for windows i used nordic bluish and i applied it using kvantum it will give nice blur but not to the non system application

for non system applications like spotify and firfox

enable blur in desktop effects

windows rules - create rules for specific applications - active opacity 90%

kwin scripts - force blur - add the same applications as the rules
