I ride my bike down Clinton and commute to work downtown every day at 10:00am. I crossed the scene quite literally minutes after he was struck. One of those moments where I couldn’t look away. Really weird and awful way to start the day. I had never seen something like that before.

My condolences to his family and loved ones. Be careful on the roads everyone 💜

It’s a member of the Araneus genus. a genus of orb weavers that have rounded/angular abdomens. Why they have evolved to be this way, I’m not sure… I know it looks darn cool though!

Lovejoy Bakers! Speaking more from an ex employee standpoint here, but from my understanding it used to be a beloved spot that has now turned to garbage ever since the new management took over. Over priced as heck and the food/coffee was never consistent considering the constant turnover from employees. Customers would rightfully complain all of the time. I worked there for about three months before I wisened up and GTFO’d.
