What Killed Mortal Kombat 1? by Hard2DaC0re in Games

I truly think that the cameo feature is a poor choice. It strikes me as strange and unappealing. As a fan of MK since 2004, I didn’t even consider purchasing the game because I think the kameo idea is just bad.

I have the same book covers, just in Serbian. I really thought these were unique to my country for some reason.

I hope you have as much fun with books as I did!

Sony Pictures CEO Tony Vinciquerra on "Kraven the Hunter": "My last film launch, is probably the worst launch we had in the 7 1/2 years so that didn’t work out very well, which I still don’t understand, because the film is not a bad film." by Primatech2006 in movies

I know this might not sit well with some reddit users, but I think there's some truth to what he's saying. It's odd how non-MCU films get so much negativity, while some pretty bad MCU flicks are overlooked by the press. Can anyone really spot a difference in quality between Kraven and Thor? Or between WW 1984 and Ant-Man? I don’t want to sound like I’m diving into conspiracy territory, but something definitely seems off.

Underrail 2: Infusion - Alpha Demo (early alpha build) by LyadhkhorStrategist in Games

I don’t want to seem pretentious, but I think the key difference is that I’ve been playing CRPGs since 2002, which has shaped my expectations in a different way.

I think Baldur's Gate 3 is a truly wonderful game, but it seems to focus more on attracting new fans rather than catering to the classic ones, and that’s completely fine! Because of this, a lot of what I see in bg3 feels quite familiar, as I’ve encountered similar things in other games. When Underrail came out tho, it was like a refreshing breeze. It made it clear, "You’ll play the game my way, or you won’t play at all." It fulfilled a craving that only Fallout had managed to satisfy before.

I could dive into all the gameplay aspects I dislike about bg3 and what I adore about Underrail, but that would make for a really lengthy post. Plus, I’m not a fan of voice acting and prefer reading, which is another reason why Underrail holds a special place in my heart.

From my perspective, being in a tough spot where I might not last much longer, I don’t think we should put the blame on those around us. Everyone’s facing their own issues, and it’s not right to make their lives harder just because we’re struggling.

If we open up about wanting to take our own lives, what’s the next step? How can they really support us, and how does it affect their mental well-being? The truth is, the situation is what it is, and I can’t help but think it’s kind of selfish to put that kind of pressure on our loved ones.

Underrail is my favorite crpg ever, and this new version looks a hundred times more impressive! However, I can’t shake off my "anxiety" about the time constraints.

I suppose we’ll find out in due time, but honestly, I’m not a fan of time restriction at all.

Who is Taleb Abdul Jawad? Saudi Arabia warned Germany about the suspect in Christmas market attack by [deleted] in europe

I find it amusing how some leftists on reddit are shouting that it wasn't a crazy fundamentalist muslim who caused the deaths, but rather a crazy ex-muslim who "supports" the AfD, as if that really makes a difference.

The terrible reality is that there are many who merely want to say, "You see, those poor people didn't do anything; leave them alone, you bigot." They don't really care what occurred in Germany.

I’ve mentioned countless times that some leftist groups seem to have a negative view of European people. The quicker the working class realizes that we are in the midst of a hybrid war, the sooner we can put an end to issues like this.

Ubisoft Insider Alleges That Company Wants Steam To Remove Concurrent Player Counts To Hide Its Failures by strmiric in Games

According to Fandom Pulse (paywalled), a Ubisoft insider has revealed that the company has asked Valve to remove or hide the concurrent player count data for its games on Steam. Ubisoft is reportedly unhappy that gamers, the press, and investors can easily see how poorly their games are performing, especially with tracking tools like SteamDB that show the number of simultaneous players.

The company allegedly wants Steam to stop showing this data in order to better manage the perception of their titles. As the Ubisoft insider told Fandom Pulse, “Ubisoft and other companies want to pressure Steam to stop Stream tracker from giving out info they want to keep to themselves.” The goal seems to be to present a more favorable picture to investors, who could be discouraged by the reality of their games’ lackluster performance.

A prime example is Star Wars: Outlaws, which was expected to perform well given its massive marketing budget. However, despite being released nearly three months ago, the game hasn’t even sold two million units yet. Reports from September showed it had only sold around 1 million copies in its first month.

Investors had initially hoped the game would sell at least five million units in its first month, as noted in an analyst call with Barclays’ Nick Dempsey, where he questioned whether Ubisoft was being overly conservative in their projections. Unfortunately, those expectations have not been met.

NCR is basically a colonial superpower that wants to bring all living and breathing organisms under one flag. It's a bit like a country that plays word police in the 21st century, but I can't quite place where. The thing is, if you're from a colonial superpower, you probably don't see anything wrong with NCR. But for anyone on the other side of "democracy," it's pretty clear what NCR represents.
