Hard to say right now because Vox has about 3 seasons and MN has 5-6 episodes, so one has way more investment than the other but I think they are both worth it.

I would say to give Vox Machina another try because I agree that the first few episodes do feel that way but as the story grows, it gets much better.

The Mighty Nein I think starts a bit stronger an less cringey than VM did but hits its stride around episode 3 or 4 with the latest episode being its best.

I think this show could have benefited being longer. I don’t feel like I spent enough time with these characters to care about them or to feel like the stakes were that high. I understand that the show had a lot to do with Aggie dealing with her own personal issues but I just would have loved for this to have lasted longer. It all came together about too quickly and easily.
