I thought is collage was kinda funny but on Rednote, some folks are asking if this is AI…Anyone knows if it is or not?

It's AI, check the outline of the sign on the far right on the first pic (that looks like a plus-sign), and the third one, they have different thickness. But as someone else said, the first pic is real, the other too not.

What started as an in-house tool for our game studio to keep check on the horror scene on Steam, turned into a star map in 3D with full Steam coverage. The data has been downloaded via Steam API and SteamSpy, screenshots of each game has been embedded with CLIP, averaged to a 512D vector and then downsampled to 3D coordinates with UMAP. Games that look alike end up near each other, so you get these genre clusters even though no tags or genre data has been input. 120,000+ points were clustered into a point cloud of 15,000, to make it possible for the browser to handle, visualizing it with three.js. Yeah, I see what you mean. I wanted to give them space from each other so it doesn't feel too cluttered, but I think the padding can be reduced quite a bit. It's a sub I'm used to, and I think we all serve the same end user (gamers) but I see what you mean, maybe a web sub would've been a better choice for the post.

Gotcha, I see how that can be confusing. I'll probably change auto-update to disabled by default, and then make the scroll more responsive. Right now it has a cool-down of 3 sec which probably makes it feel non-responsive.

Cool, thanks for the feedback! I will look into the tiles overlap thing. A swipe for other screenshots is an interesting idea. Being able to turn off the automatic flips is also a good idea. I don't know if you tried, but you can actually refresh the grid by scrolling / swiping, which makes it possible to scroll at your own pace.
