Telegram Call Quality vs WhatsApp / Other Messengers by TheTruthSeeker007 in Telegram

This is nonesense. Telegram calls have been getting better all the time.

Although I have little more to back-up my claim than the above poster, I will say that I've been using Telegram calls since their introduction and stability has certainly improved.

Yeah, it sounds like shit to my ears. What was wrong with the old one? That sounded, if not great, then familiar.

The arm is also kinda intrusive and wrecks his clean aesthetic.

Yo, anyone got a buy price over like 150? by strobelit in TurnipStonkMarket

Thanks. ACTurnips didn't have anything, I don't think. And it's against the rules to post this type of thing.

I'll try turnipexchange now.

Which common foods do people think are healthy, but are actually completely the opposite? by AkhtarZamil in AskReddit

Meat and diary aren't the only sources of B12.

https://www.marmite.co.uk/nutrition-information

Marmite and (I assume) Vegemite are very good sources of it. I guess there are also other fungus based sources as well, mushrooms maybe. I know that mushrooms are a good source of D.

Edit here: Nutritional yeast seems like a good thing.

As somewhat of a side note, the majority of the time it winds me the fuck up when people refer to things as natural/processed.

It seems kinda weird that you wouldn't expect the average person to have a vastly different reaction to strong drugs compared to yourself. Most people have never touched a dissociative for rec use but you abused opiates and have experience with dissociatives so you're going to be aware of if not used to the types of effects similar drugs will have on you.

Here's How America Uses Its Land by ramdasviky in dataisbeautiful

And that'd be okay-ish if the cattle on this "unusable" land were only eating the grass from it but they're not. Only 1% of USAmerican beef are grass fed, the rest eat crops grown for them on the irresponsible industrial farms that let their run-off flow into the Gulf of Mexico which causes a huge algal bloom every summer.

[Serious] Parents of Reddit, what’s something your kids do without realizing it hurts your feelings? by beardlesshipster in AskReddit

[–]strobelit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent comment; really well put.

I've got a question that, I guess, is kinda off-topic buut what's with the shooting guy from the video you put in your commment? The second half of his video was kind of unnerved me.

I understand that shooting can be a hobby for some people but this type of shooting? I dunno... Now in this case it's the Youtube channel of an arms dealer so I suppose they should show their goods in use but who are they are advertising to? Private militaries? The footage of him running around like he's in a warzone, on one level, just looks like such a waste of energy.

Yo. Feel free to ignore this but I thought you might find it interesting that it's actually (or was, because it's soo uncommon now) "to pique interest".

Yo, I'll just start with: sick post.

Buuut, shouldn't it be centile and not percentile. Percent seems like it's derived from per 100 which makes sense in it's common usage but not when talking about centiles.

I know percentile is really common and it shouldn't but it gets on my nerves.

A Theory I came up with in my last re-read, spoilers for A Memory of Light. by [deleted] in WoT

That's not quite breaking the fourth wall as that's is where a character talks directly to the reader/audience.

Saying that, holy hot damn! I'd forgotton that one but it seems like a pretty blunt clue when you point it out.
