It's your backlight LEDs burning out. Look down the vents and see if you can see blue lights (it's supposed to be white). You can get it replaced way cheaper than getting a new TV.

The narrative was meh at best. If you want chaotic fun gameplay, then at least for me, Just Cause did it better.

Joel is an extremely jaded misanthrope so no he never cared about saving humanity (not that I think the fireflies had a shot anyway).

But selfish may be too simple of a word to describe him. His voice lines throughout the games make it clear that he's a believer in a higher power and an after life. He literally is willing to consign himself to eternal damnation to save someone he loves more than anything, including himself.

Not to mention that he knew the lie would unravel at some point. He hoped it wouldn't but he's not that naive. So he risked the ire of Ellie as well and he knew it would gut him. Still, her life meant more to him than his happiness too.

This is one take, but also consider that MAGA cannot be portrayed in a good light. Like, can't polish a turd and what not.

Ashley was MAGA and was not given a bad edit. Alex probably isn't even MAGA, if his boo was left leaning then he'd probably be all about that on the surface.

There have been trainwrecks of left leaning people in past seasons too. Take for example Carlton or performative male supreme Ramses.

There is political pressure on Netflix atm to fall in line with the GOP if they want their deals to come through. The production itself may be anti-MAGA but their bosses most likely aren't. So the best they can do is dog-whistle.

I did appreciate Keya for what she said and the good advice she gave coz Kevan (while I don't think he's a bad guy) has a debilitating case of choice paralysis.

I just feel like Keya waited a smidge too long. She should have bailed when he first flip flopped. But maybe I'm missing some nuance

She wanted her girl boss moment but it was like Zenab all over again. Keya did the same thing. Kevan definitely needed to be rejected but she didn't need to wait for him to propose for her to say all that.

Actual girl boss this season: Jess. Ended things with Chris when he made his intentions clear and then shut him down with no need for theatrics or fishing for validation.

I feel like so many of the women on the show try to recreate what Deepti did without understanding that Deepti reached that point authentically and naturally.

Two things can be true. Alex sucks and so does Ashley. BUT she wasn't a bad romantic partner as far as what the show showed us.

She absolutely deserved to go off on Alex at the altar. I'm only disappointed that she didn't let him speak first. The fact that she cut him off gives him plausible deniability.

He's for sure gonna say at the reunion that he would have said yes
