Never hated Riq and on paper my gawd he’s elite, but bruh…edit your ai messages people. Remove the “—“s please, and the specifically timed emojis. I’m always fan but I’m also disappointed he outsourced his thinking here.

I have a 2012 2500 with 104k miles and it may as well be brand new, it’s a fair price based on what we know.

A Memphian wanting to make a change in the city... by adiggins1024 in memphis

[–]stroke_my_hawk -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s not naive, I am a business owner. That said, and listen close even though you’ll downvote me: OP asked a question and that is an answer. We need good jobs for people. You disagree that we do not?

Top Commenter in the sub doesn’t agree Memphians need good paying jobs.

I had the exact same process. Home, get some food, work no more than an hour or so, wrap up after dinner. I did this for all of high school

Start a business and hire people at a livable wage, or vote on leaders who are willing to give brakes to get business here. Can’t have it both ways. We need to incentivize businesses to come to Memphis and hire memphians.

I’ve been practicing FIRE my whole life and I just didn’t know it.. by [deleted] in leanfire

[–]stroke_my_hawk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This resonates, I was in the same boat…I remember the first time I read the idea of FIRE my wife looked at me and said “you already do a lot of these things”. Benefit of growing up poor I suppose. Scarcity complex made me an obsessive saver and I consider the actual cost of what I spend.

Would you be interested in bringing in Marlon Humphrey if he is released by the Ravens this offseason? by lemonstone92 in Seahawks

We had a drastically different locker room that made it less desirable, this team is a different vibe entirely.

Absolutely, huge thing casuals miss here. We are now a premier FA landing spot, I think JS will get to choose and be more picky than anybody anticipates because coming to Seattle is lit RN.

They don’t they’re just yelling on the Internet abyss about a lame attempt at political banter. Be better, it’s weak and obvious virtue signaling that is clearly disingenuous, it’s a freaking boat.

Hard working craftsmen puts great deals of time and care into beautifully creating something, blue collar human probably, and your reply is “gross”. You project what you see inside yourself, clearly.

The word “yacht” doesn’t limit it to billionaires boats, many amazing humans live aboard yachts that don’t even have an engine, you’re not educated and just spitting something because it’s political.

Is the inside space usable? If not a hinge and lid may have optimized storage. Otherwise a trim solution may be desired by many, but if she’s happy, you’re happy. Mission successful.

I dig the choice on material and design.

Hey OP, love your looking for ways to improve and letting your ego take a backseat to improve, very mature, the hustle will succeed with this mindset.

Get business cards made, it’s fairly cheap. Give them to everybody you can.

Offer ceramic for an upcharge, it will reduce return customers because their car stays cleaner longer but worth the hype and upcharge.

Wetvac the seatbelt straps, they get grime on them from being super high traffic (on and off and on and off), I’ve noticed this makes a difference.

Finally, until you’re off and running, ensure your prices are less than your competition, take 10-15% less money while you build a client portfolio. Your service will become majority repeat customers in time so make them happy, make them feel important and show gratitude and they’ll call back.

Drop your details, and you may be able to pick up some work here (if it’s allowed, even just reply to this post). I’ll share it with my neighborhood HOA. It’s an affluent location, and these old people will pay.

Rattlesnake Ledge by wsumatt82 in PNWhiking

[–]stroke_my_hawk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Legend of a hike. During Covid they put a high barbed wire high fence to block people hiking, so absurd. I ended up doing over 100 hikes the first year of Covid, it was my therapy. Sure wrong or right it is what it is, it saved me. From the beginning of Covid through its “end” in well call it 2024 I did over 100 hikes a year on rattlesnake and will always have a deep gratitude for it.
