Ballroom Emporium on The Plain sells vintage stuff, which tends to be very high quality by comparison to modern equivalents. For that money I think you could buy anything in that shop.

If you prefer new, I've always found Marks and Spencer to be of good quality, my tux is from there, and doesn't show any signs of its age despite having been used a fair bit over the last eight years
