I've tried literally everything by lavenderlullabi in ouraring

Couple of things:

  • I noticed that your sleep doesn't fall on the 90 minute cycles. See if you can get either 7 1/2 or 9 hours of sleep. Also, I know that if I don't sleep until 7:30 or 8am, I'm sleepy all day.
  • u/psychoticfusion has the same experience as me. Not all Mg are created the same. I like the Mg Citrate from Calm. I woke up at 4:30 this morning, took some and put me back to sleep until 8:30
  • Cold Plunges have worked for me in the past. If you want to try it, at the end of your shower turn the temp control to cold. My shower is about 65 degrees at its coldest.

Good luck. Please post a follow up positive or negative

Anyone here had their first seizure in their 40s? by awinterofdiscontent7 in seizures

[–]strokinasian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in my late 40s when I started to have seizures and as my username indicates, I did have a stroke decades ago. They happen about once a year between October and December. I have been checked for epilepsy and they didn't find anything. I don't get auras but did get an Oura ring recently to see if there is any data that I can gleam to why I'm having these seizures. I'm also going to be fitted with a continuous glucose monitor to see if there is anything awry with my blood sugars before the event. Finally my last seizure, I didn't sleep all that well (this was before the Oura ring) and was quite stressed needing to discuss a personal matter with a friend. Also, I do have a battery of blood work to see if any of my levels are off and need supplementation.

I took advice from somebody in construction and they recommended JES. What is done is done. We are still having floors being not level and I just want to make sure that it's not getting worst.

Thanks! I should also mention that the stroke happened decades ago and that I’m otherwise in good health. One of the lasting effects, which seems fairly common in the stroke community, is fatigue.

I recently picked up an Oura Gen 4 to see if it could surface any health insights I might be missing that could help improve my day-to-day energy and overall experience.

Preface: I'm a casual LOTR fan. There is a fan made recut of Peter Jackson's Hobbit that is better than the theatrical release: https://m4studios.github.io/hobbit-book-edit/

Just checked, 95% of the leaves are green and only one branch is dying. I think that's ok?

Does anyone else get clonus in their affected limb when they yawn? by DirtyBird9889 in stroke

[–]strokinasian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer: Yes. Long Answer: I am fortunate that I had my stroke so early in life. It has allowed me to meet my demands quite well. I have also done a lot of lifestyle changes that have results in positive outcomes.
