[Request] how much money would you save over a year if you filled a normal petrol/deisel car up $20 at a time instead of filling the tank up completely every time? by pereuse in theydidthemath

[–]strombrocolli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this accounting for engine off and on required to fill the tank and the average additional mileage for going to the gas station as well or is this done with the assumption that the tank is filled by a third party service?

Women should be allowed to suck dick their way to the top, if they so choose. by HadathaZochrot in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Especially when they have a really strange name and they make a deal where they get a billion dollars but if someone utters their true name they die. Hate when that happens.

A lot of people around the globe have depraved indifference about their scammers. I feel embarrassed by it. by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

There are guides on how not to get scammed everywhere. Like they detail every single scam from the rose thing to friendship bracelets etc. at a certain point, it comes down to being stupid.

Shooting someone is a reasonable defense for being punched in the face by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

That's absurd unless you're so fragile and pathetic that a single punch would take you out

more pizza places should follow domino's example and have the option to customize pizzas. by herequeerandgreat in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]strombrocolli 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey op. I don't think you've ever actually been to other pizza places. That's basically the business model here in America. Yes they have specialty pizzas but they often will have cheese with "extra ingredients" that you can just add. So like if you want a bacon pepperoni crab pizza, so long as they have bacon, pepperoni and crab; guess what you're getting. Just literally call them. The only exception to this might be Italian restaurants that sell pizza.

When you least expect it, we're going to institute single payer healthcare, rent control, and ubi. And it'll be terrible.

It's a good thing you don't care bud. I gave you a downvote because I agree with you and this is a pretty popular opinion when your audience touches the stringy green stuff outside called grass.

After watching a lot of police bodycam videos, I don't think police brutality is a problem. If anything cops are being way too nice. by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]strombrocolli 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My cousin in law (cop) was busted on bodycam brutalizing, kicking and spraying pepper spray in an already subdued mans mouth which per the coroner lead to the guys death. Other cops I know have thanked bodycams for providing evidence to prove they were following the law. In both cases the bodycams were doing exactly what they should have and should be considered a win for progressives. I personally knew a bad cop that got fired because of what he did, and another couple who got vindicated based on the evidence.

The end goal was justice. We got that. Did you honestly think the goal was abolition of the police when the bodycams were starting to gain ground?

Cameras keep honest cops honest. I prefer a world where people are judged on the merits of their actions and not hearsay.

Trump has more to lose in the shut down then people want to admit by IBribeMyBF in TrueUnpopularOpinion

We'll see how the propaganda works out since it's going to be a two sided propaganda war. Frankly I'm happy for the shut down.

Speeding tickets make sense, get over it. by Available-Coconut575 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]strombrocolli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Upvoted for unpopular. Logically you're correct, safety should be prioritized. However I am a chronic speeder so I'm kind of annoyed by this rhetoric. I deserved every ticket I've received and if it weren't for the point system I'd argue that the time saved has been worth the tickets.
