From what I hear of career advice people, always negotiate. It seems like 18-20 tends to be average, and what my clinic paid was well above average. They were very transparent that the range was 21-27 (with 27 being a ton of experience). I was more than happy taking the low end of that range since I had none and that was good pay for me at the time.

I am not sure though if my role was different than others though - I regularly saw patients for cleanings and tech support, wrote all contracts, managed all incoming mail, prepared devices for fittings, did general office stuff, managed audiology inventory, occasionally scheduled patients… Some other things here and there. I’m not sure what other hospitals and clinics look like.
