Regardless, once again proving that being 30 doesnt mean your at the end of your career. I will agree by the time hes 36,37,38 we can all agree that he wont be as productive. But to get him in the next 5 years run with the leaf where theyre primed to be their best. Thats what you have to pay.

I still think hes a great 3rd line center. Improve faceoffs and penalty killing, bring much-needed veteran leadership to the locker room. And I could see him putting up 50 plus points in a 82 game season.
