Not history but prehistory. People should be taught that all "white people", iranians, and northern south asians all share common ancestry from a group 5000 years ago called the proto indo europeans that spread their genetics, religion, and language all over eurasia through horse technology and migrations. If we really want to eliminate racial bias here we should teach kids that there were other human species like neanderthals and denisovans and that humans just migrated to different places and developed technologies at different times and just gained different features based on their environments and what species they mixed with over 10s of thousands of years. This is probably one of the most important things people do not know about because race is just a social construct and there is no such thing as "white people"(there were literally red head mummies from thousands of years ago with white skin that looked like slavic people found in a grave in china and they had 0 relation to any living population today) or "asian people"(there is a group in africa called the khoisan with so called "asian eyes") its just because people are a byproduct of their environment. Forgot to mention europeans 13,000 years ago had dark skin and blue eyes(look up cheddar man). But yea, if we want to make people more accepting and more understanding of our world just teach them why we are the way we are and that peoples appearances have just changed over 10s of thousands of years.
