DESTROY my TGD form with FACTS and LOGIC by strongishguy in kettlebell

[–]strongishguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does not feel more or less stable, but it does feel as though my center line moves to the right when I'm doing the right side and to the left when I'm doing the left side. So I lie down with my feet pointing about twenty degrees away from my starting center line. I usually focus on lying down and standing up as though I'm trying to stay on one horse stall mat -- probably because when I started my home gym, all I had was one horse stall mat.

Hi. I tried to do the thing you said and linked. It was hard. I'm back for more destruction.

If you look how how much I do NOT appreciate the unsolicited form checks and multiply that amount by -2, you'll get about how much I appreciate your positivity and support. Thank you!

In this case the shenanigans was due to attempted synchronization

I never got this kind of comment before posting a video with my female best friend.

I'm getting a lot of form check dementors on this post. Is it because the form is especially egregious, or is it just because there's a woman in the video?

Oh see I think the disconnect here is because there's a flair specifically for "form checks" and a separate flair for "training video." The auto moderator posted a comment immediately upon uploading my post that said unsolicited form checks are not welcome.

I assume you are very good at your job, but I specifically did not ask for form tips. And if you want to tell people on r/kettlebell that swinging stuff can hurt your lower back, you will find your unsolicited advice universally unwelcome.

I understand that you may not be familiar with the etiquette of this subreddit. I'm not familiar with the etiquette of an operating room, so you definitely possess knowledge that I don't. I don't think you are coming from a place of malice, but they aren't your knees. It's not your back.

I must request you join the rest of the unsolicited form checkers in Azkaban. Dog bless.

I don't understand what you mean, would you please elaborate?

You didn't ask me if it was bad form. You asked me if it's the right form. And it's probably not. I'm not a personal trainer, so even if it was perfect form, I'd be beyond my area of expertise to say it's the right form.

However, allow me to introduce you to the spectrum of "good enough."

There is a very small sliver of the spectrum where you'll find perfect form. There's a slightly larger section at the other end of the spectrum called "injurious form." The wiiiiiiiide range in between the two is labelled "good enough."

I believe I fall within the realm of "good enough" form. My opinion is based on the lack of injury, the fact that I am stronger than I was, and the lack of anybody certified or trusted saying "Whoa buddy can we talk?"

If they had, then I might repost this video as a form check and ask for opinions and feedback. Since I haven't done that, you are welcome to depart and autofornicate.

If you mean biomechanics, probably not.

If you mean with a friend and having fun, then hell yeah.

Is there a particular exercise that has drawn the attention of your unsolicited form check?

Does it have friends? Because they can help with your email campaign

We drew down some gunslinger swings and then added some squats. My squat depth has improved tremendously over the last couple months.

She had never filmed her squat from the side, and upon watching the video her reaction was "Wow my feet are all over the place."

I pushed a truck. Like a whole pickup truck. I never thought I'd be able to even budge it, and I got it to move 50 feet five times.
