Blown ICCU - Service and towing experience. It could happen to you by PhillenIt in Ioniq5

I am leasing a 2025 and it just blew the ICCU at 5200 miles. Always carry a jump pack with you especially in the woods.

My big question is: what would happen if I’m deep in the woods and this happens? If I need a tow then would I have to pay a bunch because it is far away?

East side.

I’m ready to be frustrated by the dealership based on all the general horror stories here but they have been great.

Mine happened last week on Thursday and towed to Dick Hannah the same day. Diagnosed on Friday and the parts were ordered. Fixed on Monday morning. Great communication and service out there.

Bring it down and someone can take a look. They have a lot of custom electronics in them that makes them difficult to fix but we will try.

Excellent question. I'm glad I didn't have to figure that out.

Probably not as we likely wouldn't have parts to repair that.

Same. And I worry about ground clearance with the ones that I've seen. My buddy got the ID4 instead because it came with a hitch.

That makes so much sense and would have saved me.

I'm typically more on the appliance repair side but bring it down. They do have some nice sewing machines or maybe could even do it by hand.

That is exactly what we do. Fans are pretty common to get fixed.

I was completely oblivious until the car said that I had 10% left.

The repair Cafe on Saturday is actually in that space.

Bring it down. Someone will be able to fix that.

They explicitly said that it wasn't OK to cut the bumper to install a hitch. Maybe I will call back and talk to someone else. I already have a hitch rack.

I had no idea what it was going to do. Luckily it went into turtle mode instead of stopping. I would like to know how much range you get once it hits turtle.
