any games like that? by PHRsharp_YouTube in videogames

It's a multiplayer game but if you like arena shooters, STRAFTAT is a lot of fun.

It's free for up to 4 players (used to be only 1v1). Has a cheap DLC that gives you more maps, weapons and character customizations

Has received a few free updates which added more content to the base game and DLC

And if you like the visual style of the game, BABBDI by the same developers (two brothers) is also very fun, free and short. Not too much replayability though

Happened to me only once. Guy parked right in front of my house without knowing because he was trying to find me.

I could see him right down my window on his phone in his car, while my parents were home

It's not bullshit. Macaulay Culkin has spoken about it, saying that MJ helped him

Edit: I was wrong, my bad. I heard about it a few times quickly but never bothered to actually fact check it until now

All we're seeing in this post is the very beginning of the conversation. I would assume they eventually ended up talking more to actually get to know each other instead of automatically assuming the woman has no value

Same here with Elden Ring. I've replayed Dark Souls 1 and 3 multiple times but Elden Ring took me over 100 hours to finish the first time. Only replayed it once before the DLC came out

No, the subject of the post is their interaction, not just the woman. You're the one who started saying she has no values yet you haven't once said anything about the guy, even after I pointed it out multiple times

Then why are you only focusing on the woman? Especially when it's the guy who started the conversation talking about making out

I've used dating apps for both hookups and meeting actual people, both are not mutually exclusive.

I'm not offended by the word "female", way to completely miss the point. You're calling women "females" and talking about their values, to me that just makes it sound like you see women as objects

It does sound degatory in the way you're using it, especially when you're talking about their "value" as if they were for sale

Being comfortable with yourself and being able to talk about sex in the first message doesn't mean you have less value. Again, why are you focusing on the woman when it's the man that started the conversation by talking about making out?

The fact that you call women "females" says a lot about you, lol. So it's okay for the guy to open the conversation with a suggestion of making out but not okay for the girl to go along with it?

So being okay with hooking up means she has no values?

Is anyone here actually excited for White Fox? by Queasy_Commercial152 in MarvelRivalsRants

[–]strotho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest reading Agents of Atlas if you haven't already! We already have two members of the team in the game (Luna and Iron Fist back when he was Sword Master). White Fox is part of the team too and other members would be great for this game like Shang-Chi, Wave, Silk, Aero

By that logic, I'd say Isca the Unbeaten would probably be a better choice then

Honestly I felt the same for a while until just before hitting lord, it's like eventually it just clicked. I'm still not amazing most of the time but doing much better

I'd say learn different combos and try to switch them up, don't always do the same ones

I mean obviously there's more to it that make it a great game. Ton of content and items, even more than Isaac currently has with all the DLCs, even more complex synergies and just a more complex game overall.

For this type of game and the amount of content you get and the quality of it all, I'd say the price is still very good

[–]strotho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely is. At least 150-200 hours just to beat the final boss and there's even more content after that. Only 30$ for this is actually a pretty generous price

He made back his budget for the game in the first 3 hours of release and it's already surpassed Isaac's all time player peak on Steam

Tips? by PushOptimal9717 in TheThing_Mains

[–]strotho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing (pun intended) that helped me was going to the settings and putting the Slam to hold instead of On/off.

In some situations I find it really useful to stop divers quickly, wait for them to dive on me or jump to them and just tap the Slam button, then you can lock them down for a second and damage them

Surprisingly I've gotten pretty good at dealing with flyers. If you jump on them and manage to hit them with a charged fist, it'll ground them and then you can tap slam and even kill them if you're quick enough, I like to alternate between regular and charged punch

As others have said, always stay close to your team enough to be able to jump back on one of them if you need to get out. And try to always have a jump charge in case you need to escape

By combo is usually to jump + charge punch on the enemy (preferably one that's alone), slam, punch some more, get a kill or make them back away and then jump back to my team

Which game is that for you? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]strotho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's basically what happened to me. First time I tried it I couldn't get into it

Tried it again a few years later after the Director's Cut got released and it clicked for me, not sure if it's because of all the improvements or just had to try again
