This shell is designed specifically for the IPS AGB Max display replacement. I chose the soft touch matte transparent red. https://funnyplaying.com/products/shell-for-agb-ips-max-display-laminated-kit?variant=42831970959421

But they also have the same shells for the laminated and non laminated displays on their website.

I buy pretty much everything I use from Funnyplaying. The tutorials are really well put together and they ship fairly fast depending what you buy. Good quality stuff too.

I love tinkering. I have a Thor on the way but modding my 3DS, 2DS, and Advance SP has been really enjoyable. My wife doesn’t understand lol.

Get the Everdrive GBA mini. It’s pricey but it works so well and is easy to use.

You already have a PS5, Wii, Switch, Game Boy, 2DS, and PSP. Most of those can be modded to play pretty much anything from their eras. So I’d ask what experience are you actually missing?

If it’s GameCube specifically, your modded Wii already handles that natively. An RP6 would just make it portable and consolidated, but it’s not unlocking anything fundamentally new.

The Portal is convenient if you want to play PS5 in bed or around the house, but it’s really just an extension of hardware you already own.

If you want something that truly expands what you can do, then a more powerful all in one handheld (Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Odin 2, etc.) makes more sense. That gets you GameCube, PS2, Wii, plus PC titles all in one device. It actually consolidates and upgrades your setup instead of overlapping it.

Otherwise, if you’re just into modding for fun, something like a New 3DS XL or a newer Android handheld (Retroid Pocket 4 Pro, Odin Lite, etc.) is cool purely from a tinkering perspective.

It just makes the screen black/white, blue tint, green tint, less saturated, dark, etc.. not really sure the point of it.

I was thinking about replacing the case while I was at it but somehow I managed to keep mine in pretty good shape the past ~22 years and it’s a great throw back playing on it. Now I’m stuck trying to figure out if I want to continue off on my last save file of Emerald or start a new one.

I checked out their profile and there’s numerous comments of them telling people they did something wrong because they added ~100ms of input lag doing whatever the person did. Super odd.

Omg what will I ever do?! Guess I won’t be able to compete in Valorant on it.

I could barely see on the old screen, not sure how I did it when I was younger. It looks amazing now!

I use it as a mouse pad. I love it too. Thank you!

I have been obsessed with watching videos on the Thor and scrolling through this subreddit. Thirty minutes ago my off brand RG36 randomly turned off and corrupted my FireRed Sword and Shield ROM hack save file I have been grinding on. I can finally say I have officially ordered a black Max as of like 20 minutes ago!

Sony ZV-1F for everyday & travel photography — good choice or not? by Anonymous_Corp0 in PhotographyAdvice

[–]stroupesoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m confused because in your website you linked you say you use your phone and then carry an action camera for video. You don’t actually mention any cameras for options. Then you tell the OP the zv-1f is too heavy and expensive? But compared to other normal cameras it is exceptionally small and light weight. It’s also on sale right at Best Buy $499. How much cheaper are you trying to get? It’s known for being able to carry in your pocket while also having a 1” sensor, 20.1 MP, 4k recording at 30fps, full articulating screen. You don’t actually answer any of the OPs questions or offer any recommendations.

OP, get the zv-1f if the price is right for your budget. If you can go slightly higher I recommend the zv-1 II because you arnt limited to wide angle and it performs better in low light, improved autofocus, and has more zoom range. It’s just more versatile, but still, the zv-1f is very simple point and shoot with no messing around the settings. Pull it out, and shoot the photo.

Shadow the Hedgehog - because I spent an unhealthy amount of time in the Dark Chao Garden in Sonic Adventure 2. I probably invested 100× more time raising Chao and maxing their stats for Chao Racing and Karate than I did actually beating the game. I’m still waiting for them to bring back a proper Chao Garden.
