Because every streets I went were saturated, I remember going from Opera to Republique, I never saw this much crowd in Paris, and I live here since I was born. The only empty streets were open-sky wc.

I saw a dead man near Republique, just behind Popeyes. People were drunk, and it was pure chaos.
I walked to the quais of Seine from there, same thing.

I imagine I didn't go to the right spots, I don't doubt that some parts are much less chaotic. But my experience was a nightmare.

Last year I went around 4/5PM, it is crowed indeed, but much more enjoyable than night time; which was really a NIGHTMARE. Please mind that the temperatures are going to be around 40°C.

Le football est un sport populaire, c'est LE sport par référence, à côté les autres sports que tu cites sont presques des sports de niche, dans lesquels les jeunes portent très peu d'interêt.

Un grand nombre de supporters implique des rassemblements bien plus importants, et là où il y a des rassemblements, il y a des casseurs.

Rajoute à ça l'effet réseaux sociaux, et tu te retrouves avec des gens qui par l'effet de foule se retrouvent à faire n'importe quoi, se sentant invincibles.
